On Wednesday, I took part in the G20 protest organised by CND.
It was a lovely, sunny day and everyone’s spirit was equally positive and warm. We didn’t even mind that the police with sub-machine guns were looking very grumpily at us.
The day started with a protest outside the US Embassy and then we marched to a rally at Trafalgar Square where there was a mix of speakers and live music.
It was completely successful protest, there wasn’t even a whiff of violence which is probably why we didn’t get as much coverage as the rioting outside RBS. Ah well, what can you do, eh?
